Over the years, especially in the last decade, Shanth has singularly focused on the human element at AccelTree, particularly in the empowerment of women. AccelTree’s employee ratio is 55:45, in favour of women folk. The drive to employ and empower women comes from Shanth’s own experience with her previous startup organization Indus Software (a global leader in IT solutions), which was incorporated two decades ago at a time when working women in the IT sector were few.
Shanth also has a strong bent of mind towards training and development. Her objective is to ensure leadership at AccelTree, through learning. The organization conducts periodic sessions on not just technical topics but those of societal importance, too. She emphasizes the need for a healthy work life balance and conducts programs that delve on the importance of personal wellbeing, which effectively enhances professional performance.
The organisation’s ISO 9001:2015 guidelines are also managed and monitored by Shanth, and it is noteworthy that AccelTree has been acknowledged by ISO audits as having put in place exemplary systems and processes.
In a recent interview with Dun & Bradstreet, Shanth records her journey of two decades of success as an entrepreneur, with humility. AccelTree is rated as a Leading SME of 2021, with much credit to her efforts.
